Last year the Town of Breckenridge and Summit County opened the doors to the gorgeous new library in downtown Breckenridge, Colorado. An exceptional design collaborated to highlight the historic 1909 Breckenridge Schoolhouse, the building features not only the library but the Speakeasy Movie Theatre as well. Located at 103 South Harris Street, you will find a relaxing, sunny space with quiet nooks and comfortable chairs to enjoy.

Featuring sweeping views of the Breckenridge Ski Area, the library offers an impressive collection including books, magazines, newspapers, books on tape and DVD movies. Utilize free guest Wi-Fi access and computers available for studying and research. Also available are private meeting rooms of multiple sizes (contact the South Branch Library at 970.453.3544 to learn more about reservations). The friendly staff also hosts on-going programs for children, youth & adults.

SPEAKEASY MOVIE THEATRE
On the lower level, you will find the 160-seat, full feature Speakeasy Movie Theatre who present a rotation of current films and offer multiple showings per day. Adult tickets cost $10, while children, seniors, and matinee features are $7. Gift certificates are available as well.
