Slush Cup Pond Skimming in Keystone, Colorado

This is the final weekend for the slopes at the Keystone Ski Resort. To go out with a bang Keystone is holding their annual Slush Cup Pond Skimming. The event will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 11am - 3pm at the Mountain House Base Area. Keystone is taking only 75 entries and the cost is $25 to compete, free to watch. There will be awards for best costume, best crash, best overall run and more. Winners receive a 2011/2012 season pass and other prizes plus winners get the chance to qualify for an entry in the World Pond Skimming Championships at Vail.
If you aren't interested in participating but still want to partake in the fun there will be live music by Irie Still a reggae band, bbq and beer to keep the spectators happy!
