Quarterly market statistics for Summit County Real Estate are in and thus far, 2011 numbers are surpassing those of 2010.
The number of transactions that occurred in 2011 in the 1st Quarter are up 19% compared to the 1st Quarter of 2010. 190 sales occurred in the 1st Quarter of 2011, besting 160 sales in the 1st Quarter of 2010.
Market Sales Volume has also improved 16% with $95,235,229 in the 1st Quarter of 2011 compared with only $82,397,091 in the 1st Quarter of 2010.
Property showings and properties under contract are increasing as Summit County continues to have an exceptional snow year, exciting prospective mountain property Buyers. We are expecting market conditions to continue to improve through mud season (spring) into a busy summer selling season for Summit County Real Estate.
