Mountain Bike Trails in Breckenridge Colorado
Breckenridge Colorado is a great place for all levels of bike riders to enjoy paved, dirt and mountain bike trails. The Summit County Bike Path runs through Breckenridge on to Keystone, Copper Mountain and through to Vail and beyond. This is a paved bike path that is a great starter ride for everyone in the family.
One of the many reasons bikers like to come to Summit County Colorado is for the more advanced trail systems that weave through the mountainous terrain. The Colorado Trail runs through Breckenridge and is one of the more popular mountain biking trails. In Breckenridge the Colorado Trail runs through the Swan River Valley which is near Tiger Road. Stretching from Denver to Durango the Colorado Trail is approximately 500 miles of a dirt trail.
Breckenridge also boasts a Free Ride Park next to the Four O'Clock Trail and Grandview Drive. The Free Ride Park includes technical trail features and dirt jumps for experienced riders to practice on. Besides the Colorado Trail and the Free Ride Park there are many additional mountain bike trails that snake through Breckenridge
Colorado. Please always remember safety first and wear your helmet at all times as the rocky terrain can be dangerous.
