Dancing with the Mountain Stars is back again by popular demand. The 2011 Dancing with the Mountain Stars is being held at the Keystone Conference Center on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 5:30pm - Midnight. This is the fourth year the event has taken place in Keystone Colorado. The event is a fundraiser for the local hospital and every year the event sells out even though it is held in the largest ballroom in Summit County.
Dancing with the Mountain Stars a Keystone CO Event includes a cocktail reception, dinner and a silent auction. After enjoying a wonderful dinner, local dancers paired with professional dancers will fill the dance floor with their version of the waltz, salsa, tango and many more dances. The cost to attend this star studded event is $175 per person. Tickets can be found online.
All of the dances are choreographed by the two-time Emmy Nominated Choreographer Mandy Moore. Mandy Moore grew up in Summit County and attended the Summit School of Dance in Frisco Colorado. Mandy Moore also works as a choreographer on the hit television show "So You Think You Can Dance". She comes back every year to choreograph this spectacular event for a great cause.
I attended Dancing with the Mountain Stars the first year it was held and what a wonderful time we had. This is a must attend event in Summit County Colorado for anyone who loves to watch dance or who likes to get out there and shake their tail feather!
